‍Vietnamese Mango Export Tendentious

According to the statistics of Vietnamese Department of Commerce, the volume of mango varieties exported hugely increased.

In 2015 Vietnam exported orange mangoes worth 46 million dollars, in 2016 - 68 million dollars, in 2017 - 156 million dollars. In 2018 the volume reached 193 million dollars, a growth of 24 percent compared to the last year!

Most of the orange mango plantations are in the Southern part of Vietnam.Total area of manufacturing plantations is 80 thousand hectares. Dong Thap is the province with the largest mango production. The association of Dong Thap gardeners informed that in 2018 about 2,5 tons of mangoes were exported!

Boom in the USA market

The USA has imported twice as much Vietnamese mango in June-August 2020. Analytics says that there exists the potential of market increase. 

As a result, in 2020 Vietnam was the 12 largest market of mango import to the USA. It was 0,3 percent of overall volume. Trading connections with the USA is the best opportunity for Vietnamese companies to expand.
